Networking Night is a meeting coordinated by the UVA Student Chapter of the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers). It is typically scheduled during Engineering Days held each fall by the Center for Engineering Career Development (the career services office for UVa’s School of Engineering and Applied Science). Recruiters are able to speak to and meet with students. In the past, students who have provided their resume for inclusion in the book that corporate sponsors (of Networking Night) receive have also had an opportunity to learn about companies recruiting civil engineering graduates for jobs as well as candidates for internships. As corporate sponsors, companies are featured on the chapter’s website for Networking Night.

Networking Night is scheduled for September 16, 2008. The ASCE Student Chapter will update its page as information and details become available. Meanwhile, inquiries emailed to civil@virginia.edu will be forwarded to the appropriate contacts for the ASCE Student Chapter.
